yNaut experience boating at it’s best and enjoy the beauty of Portland from the Willamette and Columbia River Cruises & Boat tours

We are your friend with the big boat!

Why yNaut

We want your yNaut boating experience to be like having your best friend take you out on their nice big boat and they do all the work.  Everyone know what is better than owning a boat…….it’s HAVING A FRIEND WITH A BIG BOAT! (Does that work for you?) We are NOT a massive “3 Hour Tour,” stand in line, take a number, go through the buffet line boat excursion.  All you do is book your charter or excursion, show up with a group of six or fewer people, BYOB “adult beverage”  (due to OLCC laws we can not sell alcohol), and let us take the helm and do the rest! You just sit back and enjoy the ride. Choose a gourmet cheese tray or let me know what catering selections you would like.  So don’t be disappointed years from now,  and just “throw off those bowlines” while you “Experience Boating at its Best!” Things are just better on a boat, it’s as simple as that.

It’s all about the boat and being on the water! It energizes the spirit and calms the soul at the same time; it’s truly a beautiful thing. Experience this feeling while cruising down the river in style on your private/semi-private chartered boat/ excursion while you take in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest on Willamette or Columbia rivers. Time on a yNaut boat is like a mini vacation on the water.  For me, being on a boat is like being on my own floating sanctuary.  It’s my happy place and I want to share experience with you. (Can you tell I’m a little passionate about boating?)  Plus, boating just bonds people in a unique way.

Our mission at yNaut is to navigate a worry free boating day for you!

In addition to cruises around the Portland area, consider a charter to such destinations as St. Helens, Oregon, Cathlamet, Washington and even Astoria, Oregon on the Columbia River!  On a yNaut charter or excursion, the journey will be the destination as well. Contact me, Kim Nethercott, and we will chart your way to great boating experience and destination of your choice.

Where do we board and disembark?
We will board and disembark at the Portland Parks & Recreation Department’s South Breakwater located at 0425 SW Montgomery St, Portland, OR 97201. (Where the Newport Grill floating restaurant was located.) This is just to the south of Riverplace Marina.
Where do I park?
PARKING available at ACE Parking, 1852 SW River Drive Portland, OR 97201 and the U Park on SW River Drive. There is additional pay parking on SW River Drive.
When should we arrive at the dock?
Due to Portland’s traffic, you should always allow extra time to get the Riverplace Marina area. We suggest that you arrive 15 minutes early so we can depart on time and you get the most of your charter! We only are allowed a short time to board and disembark passengers at the dock, so do not worry if we are not docked when you arrive.
Are alcohol beverages allowed?
Yes, you can BYOB, but are expected to drink responsibly. Taxis, Uber and Lyft services are plentiful in Portland.

Yes, you can if you choose, but we take pride in our “show and go” service and offer various catering options
Do you offer catering services?
We have arrangements with some great Portland Restaurants. Ask us for suggestions.

No, for your pet’s safety, we ask that you leave your pet at home.
